INDIVIDUAL THERAPY IN MIAMI
Reconnect to others. Reconnect to yourself.
Relationships are one of the best & hardest parts of life.
You’re tired of:
Putting others’ needs before your own.
Saying yes when you mean no.
Feeling responsible for other people’s emotions.
Trying to hold it all together while feeling unseen.
Overthinking every interaction.
Losing yourself in relationships just to keep the peace.
how i can help
I work with people who are exhausted from trying to keep everyone else happy—who’ve spent years shrinking themselves, overthinking, or walking on eggshells in relationships.
Together, we start to slow things down and get curious about what’s really going on underneath those patterns. Not to shame them—but to understand them, and eventually outgrow them.
We’ll look at:
Where you learned to over-function, over-give, or over-accommodate
How to set boundaries that honor you—without disconnecting from others
What it means to speak clearly and calmly, even when it's hard
How to stay rooted in yourself, especially when conflict or closeness feels scary
How to show up in relationships from a place of self-respect, not self-sacrifice
This is relational work—but the focus starts with you. Your story. Your patterns. Your voice.
The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s to be more whole, more grounded, and more fully you—in your relationships and in your life.
Most of us aren’t taught how to do relationships—we just try our best with what we’ve learned. Sometimes that means repeating old patterns, losing ourselves, or getting stuck in painful dynamics that feel impossible to shift.
Relationship therapy can offer something different: a space to slow down, get honest, and start relating in a way that’s more connected, respectful, and real. You don’t have to be in a relationship to benefit from relational work. Together, we’ll look at how your past experiences, beliefs, and survival strategies are playing out in your current relationships—with partners, family, friends, or even yourself..
imagine if you…
Understood why you get triggered the way you do.
Knew how to stay grounded in hard conversations, and felt confident setting boundaries without guilt.
Imagine if you could repair after conflict instead of shutting down or blowing up—if you could speak honestly and be heard, without losing connection.
It’s not about fixing you. It’s about helping you show up more fully—with clarity, compassion, and courage—in the relationships that matter most.
Could stop could stop second-guessing yourself in every conversation.
Stop walking on eggshells, trying to keep the peace.
Stop disappearing to avoid conflict—or exploding just to be heard.
Imagine what it would feel like to trust yourself in relationships, to speak with clarity, to know you're allowed to take up space and still be loved.
That’s the work we do here. Gentle, honest, and brave.
Felt connected and restored.
Felt seen without having to perform, and loved without needing to earn it.
Felt like you could be fully yourself—and still belong.
Helping you come home to yourself, and bring that self into relationship—with honesty, with strength, and with care.
I want you to know:
Change is possible.
Let’s break old patterns and find new ways to connect—honestly and without blame.
I’ll be here with you, direct but kind, helping you speak your truth and hold your ground.
If you’re ready to show up differently, let’s get started.

Common questions about relationship therapy
-
Relational Life Therapy (RLT) is a therapeutic modality created by Terry Real that challenges patriarchy and all forms of discrimination, shares wisdom and practical tools for building and nurturing meaningful connections.
The work of RLT is based on this concept, we learn to work on and heal ourselves, not our partners. This practice is based on holding ourselves and our partners in warm regard in the face of our imperfections while we work through the difficult challenges, as teammates not adversaries.
-
How long do you typically work with your individuals and couples:
the typical length of therapy varies depending on the client’s goals, issues, and level of commitment, but generally:
Short to medium-term: Many clients see significant progress within 12 to 20 sessions (about 3 to 6 months), especially with the active, direct approach RLT uses.
Longer-term: Some individuals or couples may continue beyond that for deeper relational growth, maintenance, or to work through complex patterns.
